I started in insurance in high school taking after hour calls collecting data for quotes. I later moved into captive side of the industry as an agency owner, but I wanted to work with businesses and their insurance needs. I did insurance consulting until going back into the agency side of the business in 2012. I opened my own independent agency in 2015 with a focus on business and personal lines insurance.

Recognizing the mission of that company "to better peoples' lives and be a force for good in the world" aligned with her values as a mother and nurse, she joined with Asea. Her goal: to help people by spreading cellular health and redox based technologies globally through life changing products, financial opportunity, and culture.
