Born in Hawaii and raised in a military family, Shirley Mears has spent her life connecting people and building community. A longtime Oklahoma resident, she’s known for her passion for service, entrepreneurship, and communication. Shirley's professional journey is marked by a spirit of adventure and service. As a representative for LegalShield and IDShield, she empowers individuals and businesses with essential legal and identity protection services. She’s hosted radio shows like “Where’s Shirley” and “45 & Better,” launched a monthly newspaper that reached 45,000 readers, and conducted interviews on The Gospel Station Network. Her heart for others shows through her prison ministry work and mentoring of young girls. Married to her high school sweetheart since 1972, Shirley enjoys Bible study, gardening, hiking, and creating photo-story albums. As the Location & Social Media Leader for the Mix & Mingle OKC Prayer Chapter, she brings warmth, wisdom, and a welcoming spirit to every connection.
